It will generate CSS code and spritesheet from imported sprite images.
You can export spritesheet as PNG,JPEG and BMP and save the CSS,HTML and spritesheet in a single ZIP archive.
The program is portable and you don't need to install it. Just extract the archive and start using it. If you can't open CHM help file,right click on it and select "Unblock" option.
There will be no Linux version as it works smooth using WINE emulator.

I noticed that Google+ is updating user profiles views and you can one big cover photo

Update:
The template was made long time ago and now I updated to fit a new profile image size.
Also it includes a guides so you can easily slice the profile and cover photo images.
If you still using old Facebook profile you can check a detailed tutorial how to enable Timeline in Facebook. You can change the covers above your timeline which is pretty nice feature. Too bad facebook converts all images into low quality JPEGs as you in the picture above. The image is 851px wide and 315px tall.
You can download my template for Adobe Photoshop® (PSD file) , The GIMP (XCF file), Paint.NET (PDN file) .
